Fundraising/Events

Fundraising allows Schaefer Charter School to provide more opportunities for our students. Through fundraising events and rewards programs like SCRIP and eScrip, it’s now easier than ever to make a difference in our school community. Every little bit counts.

Your contribution is important to us, and together we can help Schaefer Charter School provide a superior education and learning environment for our students.

Earn Money for Your School with  SCRIP and eScrip

About the SCRIP and eScrip Programs

The SCRIP and eScrip programs are a simple way to raise money for our school.  Participating businesses will make a contribution based on your purchase amounts. Schaefer Elementary School receives the donation without any additional contribution from you.  SCRIP and eScrip are a convenient and easy way to raise money for student activities, equipment upgrades, and special programs.

SCRIP

To put it simply, SCRIP is gift cards or gift certificates.  You purchase the gift cards/certificates at Schaefer and use them as you would a gift card purchased directly through a store to do your shopping.

There are 3 ways to order your SCRIP.
  1. You can stop by the SCRIP table on Tuesday or Friday, both before and after school. It is located near the flag pole.
  2. You can fill out a paper form and return it with your payment to school, either to your child's classroom or to the office.
  3. You can order online at http://www.shopwithscrip.com/.  Shop with SCRIP allows you to place your order online so that it is ready to go when our SCRIP coordinator places the school's order.  You will need to print out your receipt and return it to school with your payment.  Both paper form and online orders are delivered to your student (or yourself) on Fridays.  To use Shop with SCRIP, you will need Schaefer's enrollment code: 81B863371256L.
At this time, we can only accept cash or check payments for SCRIP orders.  Checks are to be made out to "Schaefer."

eScrip

Now parents and members of the community can raise money for our students through eScrip, which tracks purchases using your registered debit/credit card.
  1. Register any or all of your existing debit, credit, or grocery loyalty cards in the eScrip program
  2. Participating businesses will make contributions to your chosen group based on purchases you have made with your enrolled cards
  3. Your purchases are tracked and made available to you online so you can track how much you are earning for your school.
  4. Sign up today and begin earning money for our students!
  5. Visit our family of merchants for a complete list of participating businesses.
One of the best ways to contribute is to do your online shopping through eScrip.  Many merchants such as Oriental Trading, Amazon and Apple iTunes are members of eScrip's online mall.

Box Tops for Education
Schaefer participates in both the Box Tops For Education and Labels For Education programs.  Both programs are easy ways to help raise funds for our school without buying anything you wouldn't normally shop for.

You can make a difference for your school every time your shop for groceries! Just clip the Box Tops coupons from hundreds of your favorite products and send them to your child's school.   Each Boxtop we turn in is worth 10¢, and our school can earn up to $20,000 over the school year.

You can turn in your Box Tops to your child's classroom or the office at any time.  About twice a year, Schaefer Families, our parent group, sponsors a contest.  The classroom that brings in the most Box Tops wins a class party (one party for the winner of grades K-3 and one winner for grades 4-6).

Box Tops come on a wide variety of grocery items.  For more information, click here

Box Tops Marketplace
Shop online and make a difference for your school. Over 60 popular online stores have teamed up with Box Tops. Our school earns cash on every qualifying purchase made, up to $20,000, at no additional cost to you. Just click on a store and start shopping.

Labels for Education
Campbell's Labels for Education is a school fundraising program. The program was designed with busy families in mind as an alternative to traditional fundraising. By saving and redeeming Campbell product proofs of purchase from eligible brands schools can earn FREE educational merchandise, such as computers, software, sports equipment, musical instruments, library books and even a minivan. The school redeems the points collected for FREE merchandise from the Campbell's Labels for Education catalog.

You can turn in your Labels to your child's classroom or the office at any time.  The Labels are included in the contest with the Box Tops for a class party.

For more information on these programs, visit the Box Tops website or the Labels website.
