She was born in Oakland, California, but is a dual citizen...Canadian and American! She attended her first two years of school in Canada! She then returned to California and grew up in the East Bay, but returned to Canada frequently throughout her childhood for lots of family visits...and still does each summer as an adult, bringing her own three sons now! She is the proud mother of Hayden, Kellen, and Bryce who are also all former Jack London and P.O.C.S. students. So she has not only been a Piner-Olivet teacher for 23 years, but she is a Piner-Olivet parent as well! She is also the secretary for the P.O.C.S. Executive Committee this school year. She is a devoted Hockey Mom and loves going to all of her sons' sporting events, hockey games and baseball games! She loves her students and the school...and really loves being a teacher most of all!
