Background
Hello Jack London Scholars, Parents, Teachers and Staff,
I’m your new Library Media Tech. I’m super excited to be part of the Wolves family and get to know you all! I come to Jack London with almost 10 years experience working with TK - 8th Grade students. My background is teaching technology and overseeing technology networks specializing in school-settings.  I have lots of experience with CAASPP testing too, teaching CAASPP technology tools to help students do their best on end-of-year testing.


I look forward to working in the library and finding fun ways to spend time with students reading and finding books they enjoy, as well as the media-tech side of things. Sky's the limit with technology and books!  I can't wait to meet teachers too and find ways I can help in the library with class projects. I hope parents will stop by the library and say hello! I'm brand new, so it will be nice to meet the parents of our students.


I have 2 adult sons, Randal and Benjamin. I loved reading to them when they were little. Benjamin (22 years old) learned to read with huge Pokemon handbooks. He would spend hours looking at pictures and learning all about Pokemon. Randal (24 years old) loved when the Scholastic book orders would arrive and I let him pick his very own books to buy and read. We live in Santa Rosa with our 3 cats: Manny, Loki, (orange tabbys), Juni the bengal and our bonus cat, Cosmo. I also have a 75 gallon fish tank. I promise to share pictures in the library.
