Background

A native Californian, Sharon Schuler received her baccalaureate degree in history from the University of California at Davis. She went on to obtain her teaching credential from Sonoma State University. Ms. Schuler is in her 27th year of teaching in the Piner - Olivet Union School District. She has taught a total of 28 years. Ms. Schuler strives to create a safe, nurturing classroom environment based on mutual respect. Building resiliency through social emotional programs like Tool Box and Restorative Practices are foremost on her radar. She encourages students to be curious, to question, observe, explore, take risks and encourage each other along their paths to learning
